Summit SuperSeries Track Champions
The season-long track points champion in Dragway 42 "Top" Class will be Dragway 42's IHRA Summit SuperSeries "Box" Class representative in the runoff contested at the IHRA Northstar Division 3 Bracket Team Finals event held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park in September, 2008.
The season-long track points champion in Wind-It-Tight "Mod" Class will be Dragway 42's IHRA Summit SuperSeries "No Box" Class representative in the runoff contested at the IHRA Northstar Division 3 Bracket Team Finals event held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park in September, 2008.
The Box and No Box winners at the Division level advance to Summit SuperSeries World Championship at the World Finals at Rockingham Dragway in October, 2008 where racers will earn from $1,000 to $10,000 plus prize packages that include a turnkey dragster, enclosed trailer, golf cart, Aruba vacation, diamond championship ring, Ironman trophy, and other recognition.
Summit SuperSeries Contingency Payouts
Racers who are signed up for the Dragway 42 points program are also eligible for Summit SuperSeries contingency payouts from multiple manufacturers for a class win or a runner-up at any of the 12 scheduled Summit SuperSeries points events contested at Dragway 42 in 2008. The champion will receive a check for $1,000.00 plus a 2009 Gold Card (valued at over $8,000), a track champion jacket, track champion plaque, and a photo package courtesy of Kruger's Photos.
The 2008 Dragway 42 Top Class track runner-up will receive a check for $325.00 plus a plaque to recognize their accomplishment.
Wind-It-Tight Engines "Mod" Class
The champion will receive checks totaling $1,200.00 plus a 2009 Gold Card (valued at over $8,000), a track champion jacket, track champion plaque, and a photo package courtesy of Kruger's Photos.
The 2008 Wind-It-Tight Mod Class track runner-up will receive checks totaling $600.00 plus a plaque. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishers in the season-long points championship will receive checks totaling $300.00, $150.00, and $75.00 respectively plus each will receive a plaque to recognize their accomplishment.
Akron Horsepower "Street" Class
