Dragway 42's traditional, holiday weekend program come to a close Saturday with the final day of the Ohio Bracket
Series Independence Day Weekend event.
Racing on Saturday, July 5 will feature an 1/8th mile Box/No Box Combo as well as Junior Dragster and 1/4 mile Street Trophy competition.
The payout for the Box/No Box Combo portion of the Saturday event will be $1,000.00 to win and $300.00 to runner-up. as well as $10 Round Money starting with your 2nd round win for the non-finalists.
Saturday's entry fee is just $25.00 for racers in the $1,000 to win combo. Junior Dragster and street trophy racers will pay a $15.00 entry fee. Buybacks into the 2nd round are offered in all 3 classes Saturday.
Saturday's adult general admission charge is $10.00 for spectators and crew memebers while kids under 15 are admitted free of charge.
Saturday, gates open at 9 AM, time trials begin at 10:30 AM, and big car eliminations begin at 2:30 PM
EVENT NOTES:
Sunday, July 6 will be used as a Rain Day if necessary.
The Box and No Box classes will be run separately until the combo final round.
ET Breaks: Box Class 0-7.99 • No Box Class 0-11.99
Street Trophy racers may only run DOT approved tires. Street Trophy racers are welcome to dial as quickly as they wish.

A mixture of sunshine and light overcast has greeted the racers and spectators as they arrive this morning for the opening day of the Ohio Bracket Series Independence Day Weekend event.
With yesterday's rainout, today's event will benefit from the winner and runner-up money of the two events being combined.
Friday's Box/No Box Combo will now pay $1,500 to win; $450 to runner-up; and $10 round money beginning with a racer's 2nd round win of the day. The entry fee for Friday remains just $25.
Saturday's program remains unchanged with the Box/No Box Combo paying $1,000 to win; $300 to runner-up; and $10 round money beginning with a racer's 2nd round win of the day.
Junior Dragster and 1/4 mile Street Trophy competition will be offered both Friday and Saturday.
