QUICK 8: P2 Contracting Outlaw Pro Modified & KB Trailer Sales Outlaw Dragster
Engines
- NO SCREW BLOWERS
- MUST have engine diapers.
- Superchargers must have restraint system.
- Supercharged Nitromethane nostalgia rules apply.
- Injected Nitromethane on nostalgia entries only.
- Single power adder only.
Pro Modified Class Weight Specifications
- PDRA Pro Boost and Pro Nitrous weight restrictions:
Nitrous Cars
- 960 cubic inches = minimum weight 2,375 with driver
- Under 900 cubic inches = 2,325 with driver
Supercharge/Turbo Cars
- Supercharge Big Block = 2,500 with driver (including lockup)
- Supercharge Big Block = 2,450 with driver (no lockup with 3 speed or less)
- Turbo Entries = 2,575 with driver (max of 88 mm with no lockup)
- Turbo Entries = 2,625 with driver (88mm using lockup)
- Twin Turbo Small Block = 2,200 with driver (88mm using lockup)
- Dragway 42 reserves the right to conduct random weight checks at any time and without prior notice.
- Failure to scale the vehicle and driver when requested is grounds for disqualification.
Qualifying and Eliminations
- Drivers can self-start or tow vehicle to the burnout box.
- MUST self-stage. MUST stage under power (car can’t be pushed to stage).
- If your vehicle will not start, you will be pushed to the back of your class to try to start it. If you do not succeed by the end of your class, your run will be forfeited. Qualifying Only!
- If during your burnout fluid is leaking and the starter tells you to shut off the car, that run is forfeited.
- During eliminations COURTESY STAGE IS A MUST!
- .400 Pro Tree
- Once your car is staged the car cannot be touched by crew member.
Ladder
- The Outlaw 660 Quick 8 will run a sportsman ladder (1 vs 5) (2 vs 6) (3 vs 7) (4 vs 8)
- Low ET receives lane choice.
Safety
- Visible shut-off switch on dragsters and door cars.
- All safety items will be checked at tech.
- ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT MUST be up-to-date.
- NHRA/IHRA COMPETITION LICENSE
- NHRA/IHRA CERTIFIED CHASSIS
- Drivers equipment must meet the following SFI Certification:
- Helmet SA2010 or Newer
- Gloves 3.3/5+
- Seatbelts 16.1 / 16.5
- Jackets 3.2A/15+
- Pants 3.2A/15
- Shoes 3.3/5+
GENERAL (All Classes)
Drivers Meeting
- There will be a mandatory drivers meeting for all classes held at each race before the 1st round of qualifying.
Class Call
- Two calls will be given. If driver/car is a no-show, and the first pair of cars fire up in your class, your run is forfeited (qualifying and eliminations).
Qualifying Procedure
- Lane Assignments will be given to each driver prior to qualifying or drivers will be instructed on which lane to take at head of staging.
- Car must make a qualifying run in each lane.
- Two qualifying runs maximum, unless otherwise noted by track officials.
Class Decals
- Sponsor, series, and class decals required for all classes (checked at tech).
- Failure to display supplied decals will result in forfeiture of any payment.
- All decals supplied must be displayed on car at each race/every round:
- Pro Mods/Dragsters must place Outlaw 660 Series and sponsor decals in a prominent location on both sides of car (visible to Race Director).
- Other classes can display one Outlaw 660 Series decal on bottom/right of windshield and run any sponsor decals in a prominent location (visible to Race Director).
Starting Line
- Track crew and driver/crew members ONLY! Maximum # of crew on starting line (6).

- Car must pre-stage under own power to receive round money.

Disputes
- All dispute decisions will be made by track officials/race director.
Rain Outs
- Every attempt will be made to get the race in. Final decision made by track officials.
Compliance of Rules
Each participant expressly agrees that by entering a Dragway 42 Outlaw 660 event, the participant will be bound by all of the decisions, rules and regulations of Dragway 42 including all procedures provided for in the Outlaw 660 Rules & Procedures and by the decisions, and regulations which are applicable to a particular event, including those of the track and the track’s sanctioning body. The participant agrees to be bound by and abide by the decisions of the track officials/race director at all events. The participant also agrees that all decisions made before, during or after an event are final and may not be appealed or made part of, or the basis of, litigation and hereby agrees to release and waive from liability and not to bring any action against Dragway 42, race directors, track officials, the race track operator, track safety equipment, event sponsors and all other event officials for any loss, damage or injury caused by malfunctioning electronic or mechanical equipment whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
The participant further agrees that any dispute concerning any event, the rules and regulations of Outlaw 660 or any decisions rendered by Dragway race directors or track officials, shall be resolved pursuant to the procedures provided for in this Rules & Procedures document.
The participant agrees to indemnify and to hold Dragway 42 Outlaw 660 Series harmless for any costs or loss incurred as a result of the failure of the participant to comply with the rules, regulations and procedures provided for herein.
Disqualification
Any competitor found NOT to be in compliance with the rules, regulations, restrictions and procedures as set forth by Dragway 42 will be disqualified. Disqualification may lead to forfeiture of all or a portion of monetary awards – to be determined at the discretion of the track officials/race director.
Participants must follow all rules & regulations set forth by Dragway 42.
